Recently I saw a recall from the distributur about misfire with them. Can you share any knowledge you have on these rifles. Also considering one of the Romanians... I know it is not a true copy of the SVD in function, but are the a good buy at $700? Any info or opinions would be appreciated STG1944 "Gia Dinh To Quac"

The SLFP's that have been retrofitted are less than desired quality work expected. There is a fix by putting in the original correct SLFP from Russia. I can fix this for you. My suggestion is to get the SVD the Romanians are nice too but 54r match ammo is scarce and they are rifles for 157 grn standard ball ammo, so accuracy while acceptable is not anything like the SVD.
