That is the problem...I do not have much to spend right now. I just want a good reliable "plinker." Olympic Arms are very reasonibly priced and "seem" to be good quality. Most anyone can do it with a few simple tools, you can also build yourself a complete rifle for about $175 less that that price. From what you wrote you said you just wanted a "plinker" just a reg. AR to start you off. the particular rifle you are looking at seems to me like its made to do competition shooting, its got a 1-9 twist with a heavy bbl, and also is configured as an A2, there are some other rifles in the 600 dollar range complete if you just get an A1 configured upper. the only difference between the 2 is you have a tear drop forward assist instead of the round a2 style and the wainage and elevation gauges. I will try to post pics of this later so you can see what I'm talking about. There are a lot of good deals on ARs to be had, I also suggest you go ever to AR15.com and find out about the group purchase thing they are doing. They seem to be getting a great deal on an M-4 at a price of $660. Anyhow good luck and feel free to e-mail me with any questions you might have, I'll be glad to help.

VERY accurate.....I bought it two years ago new for around $850. Saw the same gun new today in Knoxville at a gunshow and the dang thing was $1199.!! Inflation at it's finest! LOL "It felt good so I did it again...and again...and again...and....."
