I'm new here, and I recently purchased a 2002-production model WASR-10 that takes the single stack mags.

Initially, I was having a lot of trouble getting the mags in and out of the mag well. Especially getting them out!!!

I finally took a small jeweler's file and did some grinding on the bottom and rear of the lip of the magazines and now they slip right in and pop right out with ease.

This has been the case with every magazine I've bought, and I now have 20. Is this a common problem? And if so, did I address the problem correctly? I believe I did. I've been building and monkeying with M-1911 Government Models since I was a kid, but I'm pretty new to the AK.

Any input would be appreciated.
