I replaced the trigger group with FSE parts this winter to correct a chronic "doubling" problem. It shoots great, never has jammed and will feed anything. I painted the upper and lower hand grips and the pistol grip satin black with a clear satin acrylic topcoat. The bolt carrier and the receiver cover were painted with barbeque-pit black and then baked on for a couple hours. This turned out to look parkerized. I'm stripping the paint on the receiver and barrel this week and finishing with Brownell's baking lacquer. I will sand the stock while its off and I'm thinking about some sort of black or dark gray stain and oil finish on it. I don't think you can beat these guns for the money, hell, I don't think I'd trade mine for an AR.(shit, know i wouldn't)

It never misfired and always performed flawlessly. Of course many ran them down saying they were a poor version... lol but once you get the finish fixed it's great. Good luck on your project!! If it feels right, DO it!!!
