Ok. No doubt these have been covered endlessly. Here we go. Any info or links to helpful sites welcomed.

I want to get an AK-47. I'm new to them so need losts of info. I am primarily interested in Viet Nam combat weapons. Chinese or ????

A) Where is a good source to buy a decent weapon for a reasonable price?

B) What do I need to be aware of when buying?

1) Can it be tracked by serial number? I'm interested in where it was made and when.

2) What is a good source for replacement parts.

3) Is it possible to determine if it was active duty at some time?

4) Where can I get instructions for firing mechanism and trigger disassemply?

5) Is the value different depending on where it is made. Or When?

6) Where can I get instruction for disassembly and cleaning?

7) Is there supposed to be a cleaning kit or tool kit with it?

9) What is standard that they come with.

10) What accessories could I get, and still be era specific?

11) What do I have to look out for so I don't become illegal?

12) Are all AK-47 the same model #? How do you tell?

That better be all the questions or you guys will kick me off. I'm on other site. I know it can be frustrating to answer the same questions over and over. Thanks for your patience.
